About Pocket Full of Change Ministries

In a Nutshell:

We are a qualified 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit foundation dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission and equipping other Christians to do the same. Donations are eligible to be claimed as a tax deduction.

Our Mission Statement:

To equip and mobilize Christian believers in fulfilling the Great Commission (introduce all to the Gospel of Jesus and invite them to follow Him) by giving every person along their path and in their circles an opportunity to hear and accept His Gospel (which means “Good News”) and thereby helping people, churches, and organizations more fully embrace the Great Commandment (Love God and Love People), empowering them to fill their spiritual pockets so they are prepared for life and eternity.

We fulfill our mission by building on the legacy of the late Rev. Cheryle M. Touchton who founded the original Pocket Full of Change (PFOC) Ministry that we seek to carry on. We do this by:

  • Sponsoring and supporting evangelistic events.

  • Creating and providing evangelism processes, tools and pamphlets.

  • Creating and distributing educational materials and providing training sessions.

  • Encouraging evangelistic believers through on-line posts and blogs.

  • Distributing and selling books authored by Rev. Touchton.

  • Soliciting, accepting and managing financial contributions to fund the work of the Ministry.

  • Soliciting, vetting, training and managing volunteers that support the work of the Ministry.

Our Vision:

That every person on earth would have a genuine opportunity to respond to the truth and love of Jesus.

Our Statement of Faith:

We believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only son and in human form was fully God and fully man. We believe the way of salvation is through Jesus Christ alone by repentance and faith in His death and resurrection.

Our Values:

As Christian evangelists, we:

  • Follow God’s Word (the Bible), accept and reflect Jesus’ grace and love, and lean on the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and guidance.

  • Love non-believers, but never judge or belittle them.

  • Share God’s message of love, hope, forgiveness and salvation through a relationship with Jesus, but never cajole, scare or manipulate.

  • Invite non-believers to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and help them plan their next steps, but never proselytize or argue.

  • Encourage and pray for believers and non-believers alike who are struggling with their faith and/or life circumstances.
